Pirates insider Noah Hiles from the PG joined the show. Noah is not getting the sense that the Pirates are pursuing an extension with Paul Skenes right now. How much do the circumstances matter? Would it be different if the Pirates were really trying to win instead of what their offseason plan was? Noah brought up the military background for Skenes.
