Divorce is a painful and complex end to a relationship, but it can be incredibly challenging if your immigration status is in the middle of it. When you obtain a green card through marriage, it might be a 2-year conditional green card, and in order to lift the conditions after two years, you need to prove that you and your partner are still married (Form I-751).
